The client of this project is fascinated by the bucolic landscape of the Colline Metallifere (Metal-bearing Hills) and in particular by the views that from his chosen construction site are to be enjoyed, first over the Gulf of Follonica and then, further in the distance, over the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Tuscan archipelago.
The key guiding principle of this project, recently completed and scheduled for construction in early 2024, is thus to capitalise on the breathtaking views in a southerly direction.
The building was therefore conceived as a composition of two separate bodies: a secondary building on the west side to accommodate guests and then the L-shaped owner’s house where both the living space and the master bedroom face south, with fully glazed façades.
To complete the project, an elegant swimming pool overlooks the valley and is the ideal location to enjoy sunsets over the sea.
